Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation branches in Ogden and Farmington, Utah partnered with the American Warrior Initiative (AWI) to honor a local U.S. veteran with a grant. Along with a donation, a residential housing “Boot Camp” was held to train real estate professionals and mortgage planners on how to handle with excellence the home purchase needs of active duty military members and veterans.
The honoree at the event was U.S. Navy corpsman Paul Adams. Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation and the American Warrior Initiative honored Adams and his family with a home renovation grant of $10,500 that will be used to build a therapeutic sensory room for Adams’ 2-year-old son who was recently diagnosed with autism.
Branch manager AAron Flowers is grateful to have participated in this event. He said:
“AWI’s first visit to Utah was a tremendous success. The continuing education event exceeded all expectations. More than a few of the agents that attended posted on social media that it will ‘forever change’ the way they do business. I am so grateful for how the northern Utah Fairway branches came together to make memories for our agent partners, expo presenters, sponsors, donors and the Fairway LO’s who had no idea what to expect as this was their first event.”
Founded by Louise Thaxton and Sean Parnell, the American Warrior Initiative is a non-profit organization sponsored by Fairway Independent Mortgage. The AWI seeks to ease U.S. veterans’ transition from military to civilian life.
I am proud to work for a company that does so much to honor those who sacrifice for our country. If I can help answer any questions about VA loans or any other home loan options, give me a call.
